Is it possible to download a Cauldron Live DVD? I want to test it and report some errors.
But where can I download it?
Or must I wait until a Mageia 9 Live alpa 1 is available?

There are no live medias for cauldron. See our wiki how to test cauldron: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Cauldron

Later (short before MGA9 release) there will be alphas, betas, RC's and so on for testing of Live media.

Then it is not possible to test the coming Live DVDs either.

consider also to join the QA team. => https://wiki.mageia.org/en/QA_Team#The_Mageia_QA_Team
one of the things that they do is test the install media prior to public release.
bug reporting is part of the gig.

It is recommended that you would need to be reasonably familiar with Virtual Machines, and, maybe have a spare machine to test the Cauldron .isos (as a precaution. sometimes an install error will make the system un-bootable- not something you want for your daily driver.)

I have read the link

https://wiki.mageia.org/en/QA_ISO_testers

I am afraid to publish my personal information on this Wiki page.
Isn't there an easier way to download the Mageia-9-Alpha ISO file from a public server?

I just want to test it on my second notebook and report the errors before the Mageia-9 final version is published.

This is the way how it is done. Please read again the first chapter of the provided wiki article.
Didn't you think about to get a special email adress only for such purposes if you are afraid of it?

no, not until they are made public. this means that the installer has been tested reasonably well, and there are no issues which are likely to prevent a normal user from running the installation or the newly installed system. updates applied after install, as it is cauldron, could still bork the system.

Mageia 9 Alpha, Beta, and RC will be available for download (in that order) from public mirrors before the Final is released.

If you do not wish to part of the QA-test team, you are still able to do your bit with testing cauldron.
you could download the cauldron net-install ISO from here => https://www.mageia.org/en/downloads/alternative/

the install behaves the same as the Classical Install.ISO.
the net-install ISO is "stage-1", and hands off to the mirror for "stage-2".
you will need to pick a reliable mirror.
