Just a note, had some trouble installing Mageia 7 on a Ryzen 7 4700 Asus laptop. (One reason appears to be neither the mouse nor arrow keys work during the portion of the boot where you choose install, boot live etc. But also wouldnt boot live.)
I tried the Mageia 8 beta 1 classic installer, it didnt need arrow or mouse at that specific juncture, and hitting enter installed 8 like butter.

Like butter.

Immediately clicked into high resolution, threw configuration windows up ping ping ping. Tiny text. Reboot and there she is. Quick clean and sharp. Then I did an upgrade with 1600 files.

Sleeps in under a second, returns from sleep, like a light switch..
Although, return from sleep shows the desktop for a half second before locking the screen.

It feels amazing for 8 to work this well on metal this new.
