Just a question of general interest to the Mageia universe:

If there is a crash the Drakbug catches it and asks the user to report it. I followed that and ended up with a bug report which looked really clear and concise.
I then received an email telling me that

Seems time to close this duplicate of 27046.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 27046 ***

Why waste my time and the develpopers' time with duplicates? Time to have a check on duplicate bugs for Mageia....?? Does anybody else think that??

You can't have a meaningful duplicate check before reporting a bug. And no developers time was wasted.
How much of your time was actually "wasted" when drakbug does most of the work ?
