[Solved] Invisible pointer

Postby xerxes2 » Feb 26th, '20, 20:43

Haven't rebooted my Cauldron box in months but run into a bug in gnome so I had to reboot just now and the first problem got fixed but now the mouse pointer is gone. Seems to be this issue:

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/issues/1058

Haven't found any fix yet but this is driving me nuts with invisible pointer!!

Then use a different desktop environment and/or window manager in the meantime ?

Hmm, I thought with Wayland only Gnome works. I already got Fluxbox installed so maybe you can still use X?! Will have to see if I can start Fluxbox then until Mutter is fixed.
