Hello,

Again I got gift, that is nothing but trouble, Mageia 6.1 can't recognize intel video and wifi (problems found also on various forums from other older distros), so I decided to try Mageia 7b3, and it almost working.
Installer in not recognizing touch pad (same for some time with Asus GL752) but this is minor.
Installations seems to go fine, post install looked good, graphic card and wifi listed for configuration, it actually boots to login screen (plasma), but after entering and accepting password computer hangs, last thing what it does it looks like around half scaled mageia booting screen is placed into upper left corner. I tried login into xfce desktop that is going through, but any open application stays on the screen after closing, so I'm guessing the problem is some new video card from intel. Is 7b3 has newest driver? also since there is nvidia card on this laptop I was looking for mageia-prime, but I couldn't located on installation medium.

I will appreciate any input also this is some sort of feedback for this specific hardware.

at this moment I'm just about to go again with MGA7, at this moment there is MGA6 on it that does not boot, it stops immediately with unrecognized chip , and fix that require reboot but next boot is same, so I will post output of lspcidrake after reinstalling MGA7b3.

below is the output from lspcidrake, I have just tried to install newest ubuntu but computer stops responding after few seconds from "welcome" screen, although I was able to go to wifi setup, and I have seen listed networks, when I tried to set wifi during post installation of MGA7b3 there are no network listed, and bringing network up fails.
The test of display with intel driver is positive, but I can not go beyond login screen. First time I have installed plasma, second time Gnome, in both cases touchpad is responsive for few seconds that stop then works again, and with plasma entering password will hang computer (no cursor movement) with Gnome screen stays gray but I can still move mouse cursor with touchpad.

I have never gotten notice about message being edited with request for entering output as Code quotes,
Now as far as rhe problem itself, I have installed MGA 7b3 one more time with connecting thru Ethernet and updating to latest version.
I have tried all video settings (by the way I think I know what it means , nvidia only and intel only, but how it should work with option use Xinerama and heads independently options) the Intel only worked fine. As far as wifi somehow installation is not turning power on for receiving and transmitting, using iwconfig with auto option works. After recent kernel and nvidia drivers both bumblebee and mageia prime are also working, although draftsight (I'm not gaming person) can not grab the video with bumblebee but everything is working fine with mageia-prime.
I see new updates, but I will freeze my system at this moment till final release of MGA 7, hoping nothing will go bad.
