Dolphin cannot show Exif if Baloo file indexing is disabled

Bug 23194 (link below) is marked as Resolved / Fixed for Cauldron, by June 2018, but I cannot get Dolphin to show Exif metadata in its Information Panel ─ nor any pixel dimensions for any image other than photos.

I have installed almost all possible packages, trying to solve this problem:

You should not reopen it, but instead open a new bug and refer to the old one.
