mageia prime at mageia 7 beta2 broken after updates
Posted: Mar 21st, '19, 03:04After last update of nvidia-current, dkms-nvidia, x11-driver-video-nvidia-current to 418.56-1, some application windows became empty (scilab) and, upon rebooting, the system didn't go till the login screen. I've rebooted again and got the same result. Then, in recovery mode, I did
and rebooted.
This time the system booted after that scaring warning,
Tried to return to nvidia's GPU rendering with mageia-prime-install but the system didn't boot again.
It seems that I cannot use dedicated GPU after that update.
