Can somebody give a hint how to do activating Freesync in Mageia?

I found
https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page= ... 5.0-Enable
but looks like some commands/files are for Ubuntu.

All the commands mentioned in the article should work in Mageia as well. I don't have a Freesync card to test it, but with the latest Cauldron updates I think it should work if you've got the amdgpu driver, add that Xorg configuration snippet and restart your graphical session.
EDIT: forgot to mention that if you've used the Mageia Control Center (DrakX11) you'll probably have a /est/X11/xorg.conf file and no snippets in xorg.conf.d. You'll have to either edit the new configuration options into your file, or remove it and create the snippet file in xorg.conf.d (after backing up the xorg.conf file) and see if it works
