xorg.conf file being recreated by service_harddrake

Postby ITA84 » Jun 13th, '17, 19:59

Lately on Cauldron, every now and then, on boot I can see service_harddrake doing stuff which, aside from making the boot take longer, recreates the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file which I remove (I only use a xorg.conf.d snippet to enable DRI3 for my hybrid setup). It doesn't seem to happen consistently (for example after a package update), and I haven't used DrakX11 in a long time, so I have no idea what's triggering the service.

Any pointers on how to diagnose this?

Thanks in advance
