[SOLVED] - configuration error - unknown item 'PASS_MIN_LEN'

Hello,

I am testing out a 32-bit KDE install of mga6sta1. I noticed an error while installing sshd:

configuration error - unknown item 'PASS_MIN_LEN' (notify administrator)

Just today, I installed postfix, and got the same error, printed out 4 times.

This error does not occur in the 64-bit install of KDE, nor does it occur in other 32-bit desktop installs.

What should I do about this problem?

You did install all updates from cauldron after install sta1 ? Should been fixed since a long time, as mentioned in https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17504
Can you please post the contents of your /etc/login.defs or the output of "grep -Ri PASS_MIN_LEN /etc" as root?

I checked for updates and it turns out I had not done any updates on this particular system. It installed 900+ updates and I have not seen the error since.

Sorry for the trouble, I felt certain that it was an up-to-date system.
