UPDATE: Bug fixed: it is automatically configured now, see viewtopic.php?f=15&t=11086#p65139 below

Spectacle is the successor for ksnapshot in KDE, and very similar.
( It will to be installed automatically with Mageia6 KDE )

I guess it is supposed to become associated automatically with the Printscreen button.
- That did not work for me. I guess it shoud - file bug?

I fail to find how to configure/reconfigure common keyboard shortcuts to start programs
I thought it was somewhere in KDE system settings, Workspace > Shortcuts but i can not find a way to specify programs to start for keys....?

OK, so i create one "Custom" for this extremely standard key usage:

I start KDE System Settings, section Shortcuts, and in there at left press "Custom web shortcuts"
( i am translating from Swedish and after scratching my head i now see the "web" should not be there, fooled me. - here are not only shortcuts for the web!! )

Right click i the list, New > Global key > command/web-adress
Set trigger; let it learn "print" when i press PrintScreen key
Set action: spectacle
Done.

Yep, otherwise it would be a regressions compared to KDE4.

Fixed today with with Plasma 5.7 and KDE Applications 16.04.3
There are even four keystrokes to start spectacle differently, see KDE settings same place as described in first post, and bug :)
