GNU GRUB version 0.97 (640K lower / 3072K upper memory)
[ Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB
lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists the possible
completions of a device/filename. ]
I started with grub in Mandrake, then tried to accept grub2 for the past couple of years, recently came back to Mageia w/legacy grub, now running an up-to-date MGA5.
Having just put MGA6d1 on a testing partition and putting grub legacy on the MBR of that disk, I booted to MGA5 and used vi to edit menu.lst for the purpose of making a chainloader entry for MGA6d1.
It's been a while, so I might be mistaken but when I pressed TAB to complete a command, e.g.
root (hd3,TAB
or
roTAB
the cursor in konsole justs jumps 5 or so spaces, like a tab input.
Maybe it doesn't really work in vi, so I invoked the grub shell and no TAB completion there, either, behavior is the same as in vi.
Is this a known issue or am I missing something?
Thanks.
