ksysguard replaced by systemmonitor

Postby canadaist » Feb 5th, '23, 21:58

ksysguard has been missing from upgrades

lib64ksysguardsystemstats1 has seen updates, lib64ksysguardsystemstats1 is mageia9 etc.

ksysguard itself is missing

for several weeks
Code: Select all
urpmi ksysguard

Produces only
Package libksysguard-5.26.90-1.mga9.x86_64 is already installed

Im sure it will be found, or it has new name, or the libs feed a new app

Should I make a bug report? It's really just a heads up.

The test, observation, bed, is an old platform, way back when, it wouldn't install Mageia 7. I finally installed Mageia 5? on it in desperation, then used CLI upgrades to get up to 7, the the same CLI to get 8, now we are upgrading along with build to 9.

Im not complaining, I like the distro.

Since Mageia8.
Thank for the heads up.

This old test bed needs a CLI upgrade to get new Mageias,
sysguard is only deleted, systemmonitor is not added to tools menu,
nor is sysguard removed, using CLI
