What's Mageia's stance on removing codecs from mesa?

If you have paid attention to Linux news, you surely know that Fedora, OpenSUSE and Manjaro removed codecs from Mesa. These codecs make AMD GPU users unable to properly use certain codecs (h.264, h.265).
Is Mageia going to remove these codecs from Mesa in Version 9?

FWIW, this is the relevant upstream commit for some context information: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mes ... ests/15258

Apart from that, I've not seen anything related to Mesa recently on the dev mailing list, so if you want an answer you better ask there: https://ml.mageia.org/l/info/dev
Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
Caution: Hot, bubbling magic inside. May explode or cook your kittens!
