drakclock-patch - correction of inclusion NTP in Mageia-8/9

Image

Hello, friends.
For those who want to test and eliminate it themselves Bug 27195 in Mageia-8/9, related to the inability to enable system time synchronization via NTP (drakclock), I suggest to install rpm-patch: drakclock-patch-0.3-0.mrx8.noarch.rpm

It prepares the system to use NTP:
---
1. Installs the chrony package if it is missing
2. If files are present /etc/chrony.conf and /etс/ntp.conf, replaces them with correct analogues
3. Applies the patch /usr/libexec/drakclock.patch to the file /usr/libexec/drakclock (if not used before)

Currently, the fixes are being tested drakclock for the correct switching between chronyd/ntpd, join us.

Our American colleague Rolf Pedersen, who took an active part in testing, kindly provided a short video with a demonstration of drakclock-patch.
Thank you, Rolf: https://youtu.be/_H_TC7RJUok

Log of actions during testing:
---
1. remove ntp, chrony
2. install patch rpm
3. run drakclock twice
