No system tray - sta2

I successfully installed and run Mageia6 Sta2 Plasma with dual display under VirtualBox.
I installed MATE (urpmi task-mate). but there is no System panel. No "Activity" drop down menu .
When logged in to MATE, I was able to right click and open terminal which enable to run various commands together with MCC, but no system tray.
How do I get the system tray to show up?
Please advise.

And just for clarification, are you missing the whole panel, or only the system tray?
