i586 dependency on x86_64

Postby dlocklear01 » Oct 26th, '16, 15:30

I may have asked this question already, but I do not yet understand it.

When I update my system, I get a list of i586 dependencies, but I thought Cauldron only
used 64 bit packages.

So what am I supposed to do ?

Which media am I not supposed to configure to update ? Do I click on everybox ? for example,
the Core 32 bit updates ? Do I click on the ones that say ( distrib1 ) and ( distrbi3) and
( distrib11 ), etc.

Some programmes require the i586 libraries,
so enable 32 bit core, non-free and tainted (6 in total)

Why do you think so? And have you checked the suggested wiki pages about the repositories?
Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
