Cauldron Mirrors

Hello people
I would like to get my Mageia 4 32-bit installation to Cualdron but I don't know what mirror to choose from here https://mirrors.mageia.org/distrib?vers ... &arch=i586
Some seem to generate errors, some seem to may be down and some just don't work the way they are supposed to. What is the best choice? Are there differences like in the updating frequency and recency of the packages? What is the "official" cualdron mirrors that actually work?

There are no "official" cauldron mirrors. Some sync more often, some sync less often. And because of the fact that cauldron itself updates packages with a high frequency, mirrors may often be not in sync. So best use one of the faster mirrors and run urpmi --auto-update more often.

I tried a French based mirror unsuccesfully. I now use what is provided in the wiki and it is working fine.
