Mga3beta3 and USB

Following installation of live DVD KDE on desktop.

Unable to detect a printer on a server (dnssd), manually adding the URI of the printer (as detected by Mga2) Mageia 3 failed to setup the printer.
Unable to detect the Epson scanner, even in manually introducing the USB :001.006 (the one found by Mga2) Error message epkowa:USB:001.005 invalid argument.
This USB correspond to the one of the photosmart printer which is the only USB device correctly detected.

Listing material by MCC showed that all usb devices are indicated as unidentified, no printer, no scanner.
