Sorry for the late response. I thought I have preferences set to send me an email if someone responded to my post.
Options show Notify me when a reply is posted, shows a check mark.

Pretty sure it isn't

Yes, saw that when you posted it. I still think it should be an enhancement request.

Snippet from /etc/shorewall/rules

Perhaps run with the command below and create a bug, you can attach the file it creates to the bug report then.

ekiga -d 4 2>ekiga_debug.txt

I just tried with dmz set and no firewall enabled and didn't connect but having never used it beyond finding out it's firewalled could easily be doing something wrong.

Yes, I already have txt for 3.3.2 from Mageia 2 and 4.0.0 on 3 Beta 1.
Cannot register with diamondcard or with linphone on either release. Mageia 2 ekiga was working in December.

Yup. I created a free ekiga.net account. When they got their server back online, I could register with ekiga.net.
Noticed ekiga.net would seem to fail if I have diamondcard enabled. Checking just now shows ekiga.net offline with diamondcard disabled.
I created this thread to get conformation that diamoncard is working for someone and have a post out on Usenet.
Going to open a bug report at diamoncard to get them to verify if my VoIP id/pw are still valid. I'll provide Solved when I can make a call.

I recently had a similarly infuriating problem where Ekiga would start and register with my French SIP provider (free.fr) yet I could not establish calls, or the registration would fail if I had an active Ekiga account. Eventually I found this link which suggested disabling the H264 video codec in Edit>Preferences>Video>Codecs, though the problem/solution was specific to my provider.

This solved my problem, ymmv.

Yes already worked that link. If I read the ekiga -d 4 log correctly, ekiga contacted sip.diamondcard.us and it replied to use remote=sip:4Snip@sip.diamondcard.us;transport=tcp
after which ekiga gets
DNS SRV Lookup "_sip._tcp.sip.diamondcard.us"
No SRV record found

Sent email to ekiga mail list and they are looking at my full debug log.
No response from diamondcard with my bugreport. after 5 days. :(
