Hi

I was wondering if there were community logos or artwork for the official 'mageia' logo and/or other artwork around?

e.g. Avatars, banners, etc.

It would really be a nice idea spreading the word, you know

I'm not part of the artwork team, but I was bored in class today.
Think of them as fanart, and feel free to distribute it around and spread the word.
Just, you know, don't charge money for it or anything.
Maybe next time I'll make some userbars. (Do people still use those?)

I always find Tux funny, but I'd like one of those banners without the Tux if you still have it

You should do some in french too ? Can you do it ? Or else, can you give the source files ? I could make it available for MLO....

I can type funky French letters (those vowels with the funny decorations) but I can't be sure on the translation. (I don't want to trust Google Translate with this).
So, just tell me how you would translate Mageia user, Mageia developer and Mageia contributor into French (or any other language people want) and I can do it in two minutes.

for french :

"Mageia user" -> "Utilisateur de Mageia"
"Mageia developer" -> "Développeur Mageia"
" Mageia contributor" -> "Contributeur Mageia"

These graphics are nice and should be used wherever the forum allows graphics in signatures.

But IMHO it makes no sense at all to use them in a Mageia forum (i.e. here).

Well, by using them you can distinguish between users, contributors and developers.
But of course, when someone doesn't update his graphic when moving from one group to another, it doesn't work

Nope, far from that, it's just that marja wrote about if you don't update the graphics in your signature. It says "Mageia user"
in her signature, although that is not really true, being the leader of the Documentation team and doing a fine job in the Bug Squad,
but maybe she's just like me and likes understatement and being decent

I know what you mean, i'm not only reading the board and are familiar with marjas activities, So my comment was even a joke as yours.
