Unsubscribe from bugzilla mails

Postby viking60 » Dec 4th, '13, 17:05

I did report this bug
https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6834

One and a half years ago. It was closed and now it is reopened so my mailbox gets filled up again.

I answered the mail that I would like to be removed from the list (don't ask why!) and that is not so simple.

Mageia has decided to troll with my Mailbox so I can receive the mails but not answer:

This is the mail system at host alamut.mageia.org.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not
be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster.

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the attached returned message.

The mail system

<bugzilla-daemon@mageia.org>: unknown user: "bugzilla-daemon@mageia.org"

Is it possible to not receive the mails? (I can look at the bug from time to time without them).

About the issue:
I was able to clone the board
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2681&p=23445&hilit=git#p23516
And there was no problem in implementing BBCcodes - that is what I found out. And my clone is phpbb 3.8.0.1 which was old as Metusalem even back then....

I proved that it is possible - The priorities of Mageia are a different matter....But that is all history now.

Re: Cooker mailing list un-subscribe!?

Postby doktor5000 » Dec 4th, '13, 17:17

Hmmm, what does that have to do with Cooker and a mailing list? I've adjusted the thread title appropriately.

Anyways, as you're the reporter, you can only go to https://bugs.mageia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email and disable all mail, or at least for those bugs where you're the reporter. But that affects alll bugs where you're in CC or reported by you.

And come on - 6 updates in the last week, does that really make your inbox go full? Heard about clientside filters / mail rules

Well I have this thing about mail and privacy.... I must have un-subscribed before or something I am completely unable to log in there.
(Evil magic on your part - no doubt Image )

So the easy way out would be for someone to throw me out :) (I bet there are some willing to stand in line for that  )
It must be wrong that I am unable to answer to those mails?

And I had small brain stroke there - this has nothing to do with the cooker mailing list ('cept I don't want them either) - so thanks for the edit.

As bugzilla uses your identity.mageia.org account, please have a look at https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia.org_user_account
If you can login to the forums but not to bugzilla. make sure you use the correct password. If it still doesn't work, I'll forward this to the sysadmins.

And to be honest I've never tried to answer to those mails.
