Hi,
I translated these texts into English in Mageia Wiki:

1 - Install Mageia KDE LiveCD (for beginners)
2 - Partition HD (for beginners)
3 - Install Media (for beginners)
4 - Install and remove Software (for beginners)

As I am not a native speaker of English, I think it would be good to do a review of errors in English. Feel free to suggest or corrections. And will be very welcome if the corrections and suggestions occur before the release of Mageia 3 (expected to be launched in 02/abril/2013).

The proposal of these texts is to edit a simple text, for beginners, it can be especially useful for new users of Mageia, which surely will come with the release of Mageia 3, in April 2013.

Just some advice: Please keep them version-agnostic, e.g. remove the Mageia 2 from the page title, and only update them when a new Mageia version was
released and/or changes need to be made. The last two linked pages should probably also be linked from here: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Software_management and probably also here https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Newcomers_start_here

Also please check always if there are existing wiki pages, which could be extended/improved, like for your first linked page: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Installation ... _a_Live_CD

I agree, but I think it is important to indicate which version of Mageia is recommended that documentation. How can this be done?

I checked and it appeared that the existing texts are for medium or advanced user and I'm suggesting making a special text for novice user.
with simple texts and directing the basic use graphical interface, with links for those who wish to read more about other more complex issues or the use of text-mode.

Note 1: These texts are part of a set text for beginner that I edited in 2010 to the Wiki MandrivaBrasil (see Install Mandriva 2010, install media, install software - see text index for beginners)

Then, in 2011 I edited to the Wiki MageiaBrasil (see: Install Mageia 1, install media, install software)

In 2012 I edited in Portuguese to Wiki Mageia International (see: Presentation of Mageia for beginners, Install Mageia, HD partition, install media, install software)

And now in 2013, I translated into English (Presentation, Install Mageia 2, HD partition, install media, install software)

Note 2: These texts are a proposal for specific documentation to help novice users, but must be adequate guidelines for documentation of Mageia. If these texts are duplicates, I agree that they should be merged with other texts or deleted
