(SOLVED) no sound again

Postby patrickdarcy » May 26th, '12, 22:46

after rebooting my mageia 2 64 bit i have no sound again.
my machine keeps picking up the generic sound card in my motherboard
instead of my usb roadie.

any help would be appreciated.

What are the current settings for sound setup in your desktop environments tools (and which desktop environment are you using, by the way) ?

i have sound again. by going to application launcher then tools, the volume control.
i managed to set the sound card away from the generic motherboard sound card
back to roadie again.

why cant someone put the volume control with the sound and video control
maybe add the volume on the icon at the bottom of desktop also to the video control.

everythihg is so scattered about.

anyway the last time i changed the pulse volume control and then checked at the
other two places and changed them also, then after a reboot or two and checking them
again the volume worked.

thanks for the response.

Was that last post just a glitch and happened by accident? Then please remove it ...
