A recent set of upgrades included Firefoxon my 64 bit Mageia 4.1 install now the websites I visit seem to stall.. Not all of them The Register and I am guessing javascript heavy stuff. Should I just report that to them or do you need to know about it here?

Did you check without any addons enabled, and after clearing cache & cookies?
Best report to them, there's nothing we can do about that.
