I tested smart tonight on Mageia 2.
I encountered a problem with the update. I uninstalled python-curl and after that, it works.
I installed thunderbird 10.0.7, with some dependencies. Then I downgrade it to 10.0.5. The thunderbird package as been changed. The "about" of thunderbird was then 10.0.5 :). It works !
During downgrade, no dependencies has been changed, but I know if some version has to be changed.

Curious. On my Mageia 2 x86_64 I'm with package python-curl 7.19.0-6.mga1 installed and Smart is working fine.
