Aurorae Window Decorations

Hello,

I'm currently using Magiea 2 with KDE 4.8. In System Settings, under Workspace Appearance, there is an option to use difference Window Decorations. I am interested in making one, but I'm a bit confused on what to do. After searching for several hours, I thought I'd ask this here to see if anyone else might know where I can get more information on how to make one of these.

I have downloaded a few and explored the folders and all the files. I haven't quite been able to piece how it all goes together, though.

I have found http://techbase.kde.org/User:Mgraesslin ... e_Designer, http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Plasma/Theme, and http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tut ... asma/Theme. The link http://techbase.kde.org/User:Mgraesslin ... e_Designer has some good information, and there is a link to an app (http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/Au ... ent=122763 [Aurorae Designer]), but the app is two years old and I cannot get it to compile.

Would anyone else know where I might be able to find more info?

Thanks in advance

FWIW, we already have kdeartwork4-aurorae-themes-air-oxygen and kdeartwork4-aurorae-themes-oxygen packaged, is this what you're asking for?
Or do you want to create a custom theme for aurorae from scratch?

I want to create one from scratch. I've tried modifying existing ones, but I'm not having much luck getting it to look the way I want.

Well, probably best to ask in KDE forums or ask authors of existing themes. I can only tell you, it's quite a piece of work.
One of the developers of oxygen and oxygen-gtk themes contributes to Mageia, and it's a lot of work, and not only some pictures,
as you also need a theme engine and other related code AFAIR ...
