What is a quark in Linux?

Postby laidlaws » Aug 5th, '24, 15:26

The only Quarks that Google or I have heard of are subatomic particles. Yet quarks have been around in Linux for a while. I see them mostly when a desktop launcher won't work. What are they, and how do I troubleshoot them?

I don't know what you're talking about from your description.

From Google:
Quark is a general purpose software tool specifically designed to help you create projects written in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with native desktop app like capabilities. Quark apps run on Mac, Windows, and Linux from a single codebase.

Well I see quirks mostly from some forum users, not from desktop launchers.

SOLVED::Re: What is a quark in Linux?

Thanks for all the replies. Actually, the error was quite simple.
The command in the launcher ended with a forward slash (/), so the system was ashing "What next?" As soo as I deleted the slash, it all worked.

Would you be so kind, to mark the topic solved.
You can do so, by writing [SOLVED] leftwards of the topic-title in your first message.
Thanks ahead. ;)
