This is a concept I worked on as a possible submission to the Mageia 2 artwork, but, in the end, I thought it was probably too much and wasn't in the palette anyway... Enjoy!

As for all Mageia-wallpaper-contributions, i saved this one as well.
Like the colors, and the nice way Mageia is lifted up into it's own window.

I know that this goes against the artwork remit and what not, but the submissions that i want atm don't need to be completely perfect, its more to gather ideas, then we can work to get everything to fit together in the end.

It's one of the best I saw so far (including the recent contest candidates) !

I'd even like it more if there was no border around the logo/name - like logo and name being inside the background (don't know if somebody could understand what I mean).

Hey, must have missed this one. It's really good, you hit the palette quite good, and it's definitely not too much.
Would be my favorite so far for default Mageia 2 wallpaper.
