Package Request

Postby zeke » Jun 14th, '11, 17:46

Hi all,

I just made the jump from Mandriva on my HTPC at home and love Mageia so far.

It is certainly familiar!

I am still getting the feel of these forums, so moderator, please move this to the appropriate forum if this isn't it.

I would love to switch my desktop at work over to Mageia, but I use R-base extensively in my work. R-base is available in the repos, but none of the R-cran packages that are available for Mandriva are currently in the repos.

I need some of these to make R fully functional (particularly R-cran-Cairo and R-cran-CairoDevice).

Can I please respectfully request a port of these packages from the Mandriva repos?

Many thanks - looking forward to exploring this new (but familiar) community!
