I am having difficulty with the Picasa software which is not available in the repositories.
I have downloaded the file but it cannot be installed properly for some reason.
I have asked for help in the Basic Support section of this forum but so far there are no solutions.
Hopefully there will be this package available.
Thank you!

IIRC picasa is not open source so we won'tz be able to package it on our own.
The upstream package needs a dependency which is not there, see
https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1522.
