PRE-TEST: Kodi 18.0RC2 for Cauldron

Postby kekePower » Dec 4th, '18, 19:17

Hi.

I've been working on this for a long time and I think it's getting close to ready.

I've uploaded, to my server, releases for Cauldron x86_64 and i586.

Please test and report any and all issues you find and I will make sure to find a way to fix it before pushing Kodi Leia to Cauldron.
Make sure you have a backup of your .kodi directory just in case you want to downgrade. No guarantees are given.

You can add my repo as such:

For i586
Code: Select all
sudo urpmi.addmedia "Kodi Testing x32" https://kekepower.myftp.org/kodi/RPMS/i586

For x86_64
Code: Select all
sudo urpmi.addmedia "Kodi Testing x64" https://kekepower.myftp.org/kodi/RPMS/x86_86

Then you have to refresh your rpm database before you can install.
Code: Select all
sudo urpmi --auto-update

If you already have Kod installed, it will be over written.
The packages are not signed, so you will get a warning when trying to install.

When you're done testing, you can remove my repo:
Code: Select all
sudo urpmi.removemedia "Kodi Testing x32"

and
Code: Select all
sudo urpmi.removemedia "Kodi Testing x64"

The source rpm: https://kekepower.myftp.org/kodi/SRPMS/

Thanks and cheers,
kekePower
