Hallo,
seit ich ein wenig mit OpenVPN rumgespielt und wieder deinstalliert habe startet mein WLAN nicht mehr automatisch beim booten.
Wenn ich nach dem Start im NetworkManager auswähle, dass WLAN die aktive Schnittstelle sei, wird die Verbindung auch korrekt hergestellt.
Wenn ich ins SYSLOG schaue sehe ich aber, dass wlan0 wohl zuerst gestartet wird, dann aber WiFi von einem Prozess gekillt wird.
Wie kann ich das bereinigen (oder bin ich auf dem Holzweg) ?

Nein, ich kann die WLAN-Verbindung ja auch manuell starten.

Aber grundsätzlich scheint das die Stelle zu sein, wo das WiFi abgeschaltet wird.

Mich verwundert auch, dass es offensichtlich noch Fragmente in einem Script (welches auch immer) von VPN gibt !

Meine Frage zielte darauf ab, ob du den aktiv nutzt, nicht ob der startet, das hab ich selber gesehen, daher meine Frage.
Der funkt nämlich gerne dazwischen. NetworkManager speichert seine Verbindungen übrigens an anderer Stelle pro Benutzer, daher ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass die VPN-Verbindung immer noch dort vorhanden ist. Schonmal dran gedacht, die im Networkmanager zu editieren bzw. sie zu entfernen?

Gehört zwar nicht unbedingt hierher, aber ich konstatiere im Augenblick ein ähnliches Problem mit MDV2011. Das Wlan-Device lässt sich im Batteriebetrieb nicht aktivieren. Weder mit noch ohne NM.

Den NetworkManager habe ich eigentlich nur für die OpenVPN-Spielerei genutzt. Meine WLAN-Verbindung habe ich im Mageia-Kontrollzentrum definiert.

kann ich nicht bestätigen. Gleich mal von LAN auf Wlan gewechselt (vorher Netzstecker) funzt!

Rechtsklick aufs Systray-Symbol -> Verbindung bearbeiten oder auf der Kommandozeile per nmcli ...

Bitte hier nicht weiterverfolgen, das war nur als Hinweis/information gedacht. Ich will hier nicht den thread kapern.

ich habe den NetworkManager deinstalliert - jetzt läuft alles wie gewohnt, das heisst die WLAN-Verbindung wird beim Booten gestartet - und das bleibt dann auch so !!!
