Hallo,

ein Problem mit einer Netzwerkkarte in der gestarteten LiveCD Mageia 6 und im jetzigen installierten Mageia 6.

Ich habe hier eine Realtek RTL-8129 Netzwerkkarte eingebaut.
Im installierten System (das Netzwerkkabel steckt in eben dieser Karte) und auch per gestarteter LiveCD wird über diese Karte keine Netzwerkverbindung aufgebaut.
Wenn die Karte per Kabel aktiv ist, dann dauert das Booten und der Start der grafischen Oberfläche ungewöhnlich lange. Ebenso ungewöhnlich lange das Booten per LiveCD.
In beiden Fällen ist der Aufbau einer Netzverbindung über den Netzwerkmanager/das Netzwerkcenter nicht möglich.

Im Netz habe ich eine Menge darüber gelesen. Das scheint doch allgemein ein Problem zu sein. Eine Lösung ist mir nicht unter die Augen gekommen.
Scheinbar ein Problem mit dem Kernel Modul r8169?

Eine Neuinstallation von Mageia wird somit nicht möglich sein, da der betroffene Rechner über diese Karte mit dem Router verbunden sein wird.

Ist das Problem während und im Laufe einer Neuinstallation zu lösen?

in den kommenden Tagen werde ich einmal eine andere Netzwerkkarte einbauen. Mal sehen, ob sich Mageia 6 damit anfreunden kann und installiert werden kann.

und jeweils den Inhalt jeder Datei die dabei angezeigt wird.

Ich hoffe, es hilft hier weiter.
Nur, die Karte soll ja während der Installation zur Verfügung stehen, aktiv sein und es muss über diese 2te Karte eine Verbindung ins Netz möglich sein.
Gut, wenn nach erfolgter Installation eine unkomplizierte Inbetriebnahme der Karte möglich ist, dann soll das auch recht sein. Denn richtiggehend muss sie während der Installation ja nicht aktiv sein.

Ansonsten mal noch enp4s für Systemstart deaktivieren und nochmal booten.

Das hatte ich ja alles schon (mehrfach) getestet.

enp5so:
Netzwerkcenter: Beide Verbindungen sind für booten deaktiviert.
Das Netzwerkkabel steckt in enp5so. Das Booten und der Login erfolgt ohne „Probleme“
Die Verbindung lässt sich sofort herstellen.

2.) Vergleich mit enp4s0
2a.)
Beim Booten aktiviert
Das Kabel steckt in der Karte.(enp5s0ist deaktiviert).
Das Booten dauert merklich länger.
Im Netzwerkcenter lässt sich keine Verbindung aufbauen.
2b.)
Beim Booten deaktiviert.
Kabel vor dem booten aus der Karte entfernt.
Das booten geht rasend schnell. Login ebenfalls.
Kabel in die Karte und im Netzwerkcenter „verbinden“ funktioniert nicht. Siehe auch die ersten Beiträge oben.

2c.)
Beide Verbindungen sind beim „Booten deaktiviert“
Kabel in der enp4s0.
Booten dauert sehr viel länger. Endgültiger Login dauert ebenfalls sehr viel länger.
Verbindung lässt sich im Netzwerkcenter nicht herstellen.

Hast du überhaupt schonmal mit der Netzwerkschnittstelle gearbeitet, unter irgendeinem Betriebssystem?
Oder mal das Kabel kreuzweise getauscht, wandert dann evtl. das Problem mit dem Kabel? Mal einen anderen Port am Router verwendet.
Hat der RJ45-Anschluss LED, und blinken diese wenn du das Kabel einstöpselst?

Ja, viele Jahre (unter Ubuntu ) in Verbindung mit einer Synology.

Seit Gestern, verschiedene Kabel, verschiedene Ports am Router, auch anderen Steckplatz innerhalb des Rechners.

Hat der RJ45-Anschluss LED, und blinken diese wenn du das Kabel einstöpselst?


Es leuchten die „10“ und „100“ LED. Beim Einstecken kurz „Data“. Nach dem ersten Verbinden über das Netzwerkcenter leuchten alle 3 LED. die 1000ter leuchtet nie.

Ich besorge mir jetzt eine andere Karte. Evtl. hat die über die Jahre doch einen Fehler. Die war jetzt einige Zeit nicht in Betrieb.

Bin aber immer noch der Meinung, der Fehler/Konflikt liegt an dem Treiber, so wie Eingangs erwähnt. Da ist im Netz jede Menge darüber zu lesen.

Wir hatten mal ein ähnliches Problem im int. Forum mit dem 8139too Treiber aber mit einer anderen Karte. Siehe https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=9004

Ist kernel-firmware-nonfree bei dir installiert? Aber bei dir sieht es eigentlich gut aus, die Karte wird zumindest erkannt.
Ich bin nicht böse, sondern nur ehrlich. Und wer lesen kann, ist klar im Vorteil.

Über Probleme damit ist sehr viel zu lesen. Meist im Zusammenhang mit Konflikten.

Ja, ist installiert.

Aber bei dir sieht es eigentlich gut aus, die Karte wird zumindest erkannt.


Na mal schauen, wie es denn bei einer neuen Netzwerkkarte ausschaut.

$ lspci -nnk | grep -iA2 net

Das Problem wird oftmals im Netz beschrieben.
Eine Lösung konnte ich bisher nirgendwo nachlesen.

Die Karte »RTL-8129« soll genutzt werden.
Im Kernel wird jedoch die 8139too benutzt.
Zuletzt geändert von doktor5000 am Aug 5th, '17, 10:21, insgesamt 1-mal geändert.
Grund: Code-Tags in Quote-Tags geändert

Zeig mal bitte als root die Ausgabe von
Code: Alles auswählen
modprobe -c | grep 8129 -C1


Du kannst probieren einen anderen Treiber für die Karte zu laden, wie z.B. hier beschrieben: https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/141414/83329

Wenn ich es richtig sehe, dann ist das auch nur in der aktuellen Laufzeit aktiv(?).

Also führe ich das erst einmal aus:

# echo 10ec 8169 > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/r8169/new_id
bash: echo: Schreibfehler: Die Datei existiert bereits.


Im Debianforum und anders wo wird auch oft über dieses Problem mit diesem Realtek Treiber berichtet siehe zum Beispiel hier und hier.

Scheint ein grosses Problem zu sein. Die zwei Treiber mögen sich scheinbar gar nicht.

Das war als root ?

Und zu den Beiträgen im Debian-Forum, hast du denn schonmal den dort vorgeschlagenen Ansatz probiert? Als root den aktuell genutzten Treiber blacklisten, dann rebooten

Habe ich jetzt noch einmal getan.
Weiterhin den Router zurückgesetzt, neu aufgesetzt und des weiteren direkt beide Hardwareadressen eingetragen.
Nun funktioniert das Ganze.

Einen sonnigen Tag noch.

Ich habe vergessen zu erwähnen, habe mir jetzt aus dem Büro eine Intel Karte geholt, die auch unter Ubuntu läuft. baue aber gern noch einmal die „alte“ Realtek Karte ein.
Also im Moment ohne Probleme und Plug und Play die Intelkarte:

$ lspcidrake -v|grep NET
e1000e          : Intel Corporation|82574L Gigabit Network Connection [NETWORK_ETHERNET] (vendor:8086 device:10d3 subv:8086 subd:a01f)

Mit der Intel karte funktioniert es ja nun ohne Probleme.

Die Reltek Karte lässt sich, wie eingangs erwähnt, immer noch nicht verwenden verwenden.
Aber das Problem hat sich ja nun durch die andere Karte erledigt.
Für andere User: gelöst ist dieses Problem im allgemeinen jedoch noch nicht.
