Hi,
Ich versuche unter Mageia den Canon Laserdrucker LBP 3010 zu installieren. Ich hab die aktuellen Treiber eingebunden aber der Drucker druckt einfach nicht.

Also ich hab schon 5 toturials zu dem drucker unter linux durchgemacht aber nicht wirklich nichts funktioniert.

Welche?

Evtl. ist es besser, ihn in die Bucht zu geben und einen richtigen Drucker zu kaufen.

Richtig meint in diesem Zusammenhang einen, der Postscript oder PDF-Druck, notfalls ESC/P, beherrscht. Und zwar selber!

wie schlecht stehen die chancen den drucker zum laufen zu bekommen?

Wo hängt es bei dir?

wenn ich das tutorial mach geht alle bis auf captstatusui -P LBP3010 da kommt der fehler:

ich hab meinen verf..... rechner nochmal komplett plattgemacht und genau alles so gemacht wies im tutorial steht.

nirgends gab es probleme
Wenn ich was rucken will steht in der Druckerwarteschlange immer abgeschlossen obwohl er kein stück druckt,.

im error log von cups steht rein gar nichts drin.


Bei captstatusui -P LBP3010 kommt bei mir ein communication fehler.

Wenn es sich um so einen Technikkrüppel handelt, der ausschließlich zum Betrieb unter Windows designt wurde: Ja.

Hmmm, das Problem mit einem ähnlichen Canon-Drucker hatten wir schon im englischen Forum:

Kurzanleitung zur Installation (in der Theorie, praktisch momentan nicht mehr umzusetzen durch das Fehlen des usblp-Paketes für Mageia, siehe auch weiter unten) hier: http://wiki.mandrivauser.de/doku.php?id ... owto_canon

Problem: das usblp-Modul gibt es nicht mehr, dazu musst du einen neuen Kernel kompilieren, so blöd es klingt.

Was du allerdings momentan einfach probieren kannst, ist den Anschluss des Druckers zu ändern, wie hier beschrieben:

Also oben im Menü "Administration" auf "Drucker ändern" klicken, daraufhin sollte dir CUPS
eine neue Seite öffnen, wo man auch den Anschluss des Druckers ändern kann. Bietet dir CUPS
zwei unterschiedliche Anschlüsse für lokal über USB an, einfach mal den jeweils anderen nehmen
und nochmal probieren ob der Drucker dann tut.

also ich hab 3 stück probiert und zwar den einen vom tutorial und 2 neuere mit version 200 und 220.
leider alles erfolglos
