Install w/o mouse - partitioning - keyboard focus control

Hi,

I'm trying to install Mageia 6 from USB on an Acer Aspire E5. The trackpad does not seem to be supported (probably I would have to use the Synaptics driver). So during installation I do not have mouse support. I can handle the first few initial screens using the keybourd, cursor keys, TAB and ENTER, but when I come to the partitioning screen I'm stuck.

TAB only switches between the device dropdown and the selection area below (the one that offers three choices - "existing", "use all", "custom"). The focus is initially in the selection area with the radio button of "existing" selected. I rather would like to use "custom" - but I can't seem to find any way to select this radio button. The cursor keys increase or decrease the Mageia partition size in the "existing" section - but no key there to change the radio button selection.

Anybody any idea how to proceed? Alternatively - how would I load the Synaptics driver when booting from USB installation stick?

OK - ich will Mageia 6 auf einem Acer Aspire E5 installieren. Maus reagiert nicht während der Installation. Komme mit TAB, Cursor und Enter zurecht. BIS ich auf den Partitionierungsdialog stoße.

Da bleibe ich hängen, weil TAB nur zwischen dem Dropdown für den Massenspeichere (rechts oben) und der Sektion mit den Auswahlknöpfen ("bestehende Partitionierung", "alles neu", "Benutzerdefiniert") hin- und her schaltet - aber es mir nicht erlaubt - mit der Tastatur - unterschiedliche Auswahlknöpfe auszuwählen. Ich möchte "Benutzerdefiniert" anwählen - aber wie gesagt, TAB funktioniert nicht, die Cursortasten ändern nur die Größe der Mageia Partition der ersten Auswahl und auch sonst habe ich keine Taste gefunden.

Wie wähle ich ohne Mausunterstützung bei der Installation von Mageia 6 im Partitionierungsdialog die Option "Benutzerdefiniert" an??? Alternativ - wie kann ich Mageia zwingen den Synaptics Treiber zu laden? Unversal, USB, PS/2 - nicht funktioniert....

Du kannst den Anschluss einer geliehenen / günstig erworbenen USB-Maus für die Installation erwägen.
